NYC Department of Parks and Recreation--The 
sculpture was inspired by a vision of my late father.
I had looked back at his grave site
when as at last we turned to go. I saw him for an
instant. He was waving his hat at us as
used to do in life.
I understood his gesture:
"Go on, live!! Just do it as well as you can."
